Creation of Security Council
Nations who are a member of the Security Council shall have the objectives to gather intelligence on potential hostile alliances and nations which will include, but are not limited to; Legislation (Enacted and Defeated), Main Participating Nations, General Information e.g. numbers etc. The following list the powers of these members and their appointment.
1) The Security Council shall consist of at least 3 members but no more than 5, with one member acting as the “chair” of the council.
2) The elected President shall post his/her potential appointment to the Chair of the Security Council.
3) The Chair then shall pick between 2 or 4 other nations to form the rest of the Council.
4) The Chair of the Council will direct Council Members to monitor nations or alliances outside the GIA and will do the same him/herself.
5) When intelligence has been gatherd and a report made to the chair it is assessed and then submitted to the president
6) Each time a new President is elected, he/she has the right to replace the Chair of the Council.
7) The New Chair is then able to replace any member of the council as he/she sees fit.
The Chair of the Council will remain in his/her post as long as the following remain constant:
8a) The current President remains in office
8b) The Chair and the other Council Nations faithfully observe the powers granted by the GIA for their positions.
9) If the Chair or another Council Nation does not abide by the rules described in this legislation the following action can and will be taken:
9a) The President may remove the Chair or Council Nation from his/her post.
9b) The Chair or Council Nation may be subject to an impeachment if 2/3 of all members in the Appointment Committee agree this action is necessary.
10) This list of powers granted can be expanded with future legislation
