Wartime Command (Thursday, May 7, 2009)
This law only has effect during war.
After the GIA goes through the Process of War, and the war deliberation council reaches a verdict of war, the following procedures shall take place:
1) The President shall open a thread on both the NS2 forum, and the offsite forum, so we may discuss how to proceed with the war. The offsite forum will be used for the more secret strategies in case of traitors in our ranks. The thread shall be called, “The War Room.“
2) The president retains his/her rights as commander–in–chief, and all nations militaries shall remain independent to their own nations. But any nation that enters, “The War Room, (meaning posts) is subject to be commanded by the President. The Security Council shall lead the discussions and planning of attacks, and will be the primary nations involved, but no attack will be made without approval from the President.
2a) If the president is unable to be reached, the plan of attack must be approved by either the Vice–President, or the Security Council Chairman.
2b) A nation that has posted in, “The War Room,“ may bow out of service if they refuse combat. But, as a member of the GIA, must still provide diplomatic and economic aid to those who are fighting.
3) If a nation falls during the war, any nation who not been a part of the GIA’s war effort, must now aid the fallen member.
4*) This bill may be amended after a war has been fought, with experience and knowledge gained.
