Hello and welcome to the evening news, I'm Nancy Hellenic. Today the Federal Council has been in furious debate over the new bill entitled 'Vacant Hotels Act'. Now what this would mean is that a Hotel could not deny a customer a room for any reason. Even if the room is occupied they would be required to quote 'make room'. The bill which was proposed by Socialist junior senator from Alaskia, Jonathan Freeman, is being repeatedly condemned by not only the populous and hotel industry, but especially by the Democratic Unionists. While the bill is seemingly already defeated, the vote will be finalized tomorrow, and we'll keep you updated on that.



In more domestic news Taxacanan governor Charles Winchester has been accused of having sexual intercourse with a new intern named Heidi Besk. The accusation came after a state senator reportedly walked in on the two in one of the Men's restrooms in the state house. We attempted to interview the governor but he refused to comment on the issue. He continues to deny that he ever had sexual relations, but from past experience with this governor, which includes being brought up on sexual harassment charges seven times in his administration, have caused many in the Texacana State Congress to question the governor at all, some are even proposing impeachment. While at this point it is unclear what will happen, one thing is clear; things are getting steamy, both in the bed and out of it.



And in economic news, a new tax cut proposed by the president could see taxes lower even further. The president; who has proposed a total of fifteen bills to cut taxes in his administration is receiving mixed reactions in this latest bill. While only five of the fifteen tax cutting bills have passed the Federal Council, many Democratic-Republicans and Democratic Unionists are in staunch support of the action. While the Democratic-Republicans do not posses a fill buster proof hold on the Council this year, the Federalists are inclined to at least partially support the action, which would make the bill while barely, pass. Some political annalists, are saying these bills introduced by the president, are extremely popular among most people, and could, win the Democratic-Republicans and Democratic Unionists, both of which are supporting said actions, more seats in the Federal Council. This action is a hot bed of praise and criticism, and the final vote is said to be going up in a few days. We'll keep you updated.



And in world news, Ostronopolis has announced a new sanction on Greater Americania. This time in the field of auto manufacturing. While the nationalist state is a well known unfriendly nation to Ostronopolis, some politicians in Concord are calling this an unwise and provocative move while the Secretary of Commerce, and many Federalists and Socialists are calling this a necessary step to ensure the safety of Ostronopolis. Democratic-Republicans are split on the issue, and the president is still deciding whether he will repeal the act, or keep it in place. Whatever the case, the act is expected to receive an angry response from the nationalist nation.



And in entertainment news pop star Brittany Paft checked into rehab earlier today. Palm Rehabilitation Center is refusing to comment on the star and what exactly she is getting treatment for. However, some are suggesting it could be as serious as her using methamphetamine. Some of her friends have however given us insight into this, and what we've managed to get thus far as she was addicted to several drugs and could be in the rehab center for a long period of time upwards of three to five years.

Hello and welcome to the morning news, I'm Nancy Hellenic. Today in global news, could war be looming over Ostronopolis? With fellow CAG allies being repeatedly attacked and asking for help the nation is in a difficult position. While many Federalists in the Federal Council are urging for an immediate declaration of war, Democratic-Republicans are saying the country should stay on the sidelines and that the war was started by pure stupidity. Democratic Unionists are supporting using the Palamyra Islands as a the quote 'resources area' which would mean using Palamyrans as the main force in a possible war. While no official declaration or statement has been made by the government as to what Ostronopolis is going to do, we are sure that the government has been sending billions of credits in loans and aid to allies, and troops are mobilizing for a possible yet uncertain deployment.



And in more world news, in Yakuta today the communist government collapsed to democratic forces. While the government has congratulated them they are not releasing officially whether or not Ostronopolis funded the war effort. Both the democratic forces and fascist forces have reportedly made a pact, which has the Federal Government is furious debate whether or not we should intervene or not. Political annalists are suggesting that in this case, the 'containment of fascism' is an unwise idea.



Also in world news on the note of the 'containment of fascism' Nationalist Greater Americania have not responded with the recent increase in sanctions, while many were expecting an immediate response, some politicians on Capitol Hill are calling it a victory.



And in economic news, the COIC boomed in the market yesterday. This shot the GDP up nearly seven hundred billion in futures. Much of the conservatives and moderates in the Federal Council are pointing the success due to the recently lowered taxes on businesses, while liberals are suggesting that it is only a matter of time until the economy goes down. Whatever the case unemployment has dropped yet again to a now 3.25%. Some economic commentators are saying they are concerned with the boom, saying that it could reflect negatively in the near future depending on what companies do with it.



And in domestic news, the Texacana State Congress has begun impeachment proceedings on the impeachment of Texacanan Governor Charles Winchester. The inter, Heidi Belsk who reportedly had intercourse with Winchester has been fired, and Lt. Governor James Harfield has taken the office of governorship until Winchester's fate is decided, which will be on July 14th. We'll keep you updated as this progresses.



And entertainment news, Metal band Mar has been on a tour of the country in the coming weeks of Metal week, an annual celebration of the Metal genre of music in Welmington. Fans have already begun to get in line for the first seats, and the celebration is still three weeks away. People have come from all over the world to see it, and it is expected to grow in size from last years figures of sixty thousand, to seventy five thousand.
