Inactive Nations


Nations that have been inactive for 20 days or more shall be removed from the alliance, unless they notify the president or vice–president beforehand.

The alliance may rejoin once they have been active for three days.

If a Nation is deemed inactive and is eventually removed from the Alliance, said Nation shall be stripped of any ranking previously held. If the Nation chooses to return to the Alliance, said Nation shall be given the rank of “Voter Nation.“ [Amended by Amendment to "Inactive Nations" Law (Passed Apr 04 2009)]

Repeal of the laws “Inactive Nations“ and “Amendment to “Inactive Nations“ Law“

Enacting this law would repeal the laws stated for the following reasons.

1) Nations that are “Inactive“ by our standards are still useful to us during wartime.
2) These nations still have a functioning economy, and so are still a valuable trade vessel.
3) It would be wise for us as an alliance to keep our strength in numbers, especially if we plan to proceed with the PAPA.

So, rather than kicking them out of the alliance, with the creation of this law, The President will create a new rank of “Economic/Wartime Servicer“. This rank will be sub–voter nation, and will have no power.

In doing this, we may keep our alliance strong in trade and wartime, and we may have a distinction from our citizen nations, and their inactive counterparts. [Amended by Amendment Package Deal (Passed May 05 2009)]
