The Federation of New Roosevelt

The Federation of New Roosevelt was established on world 112 in the year 2249 by colonists from the United States of America on Earth.

Much like their predecessors, they had to fight for their independence. However, the USA was much more tolerant of diplomacy than King George of England was during the American Revolution.

Led by a descendant of American president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, named Josiah Edward Roosevelt, the Federation was founded without a drop of blood being spilled. And so the Federation of New Roosevelt was founded...

J.E. Roosevelt, sometimes called Jed Roosevelt, was elected the first democratically elected president of the Federation in 2250, after serving 2249 as the provisional president. He rapidly modernized the FNR, making it a world power rather quickly. While pressing for an immense amount of civil rights, the FNR was easily the most socially liberal nation on world 112. By the time his two five year terms were up in 2260, the FNR had the most advanced technology in the world...

Following Jed Roosevelt's beautiful and astonishing two terms as President of New Roosevelt, as a member of the Liberal Party, his Vice-President, Matthew Wright, continued his legacy of running the great nation....


It is now the year 2300, and the FNR is among the most powerful nations in the world, with the largest economy... Current president, Francis Rosen, has taken a slightly interventionist approach to other nations. As he is working with others to establish the Allied Nations as the Governing Body of world 112, along with putting FNR peacekeepers on the front lines in Dijolo to stop the Fascist government of Toukam from expanding its reach.

2277 - President Burke orders a ceasefire, and declares the unification wars over

2285 - The Traditional Labor party wins with hardline centrist Robert Ulrich taking over as President.
2290 - President Ulrich is reelected
2295 - The Liberal party is victorious and takes back the white house with Francis Rosen taking over as President
2300 - Nations from around the world are asked to come to the FNR capital of Roosevelt Heights and work to establish peace of the Yukaton continent

The person on the Federat is the founder of New Roosevelt, Josiah Edward Roosevelt, Jed Roosevelt, who was also the first president of the Federation.


The Federation of New Roosevelt is broken up into smaller "districts," which are subsequently governed by small sects of the Federal Government. Much like its father nation on earth, there is a governor, and senators, and representatives.

There are 25 districts in the Federation, with two senators from each district, and depending on the population, how many representatives are seated.

The Government has been predominantly ran by two political parties in New Roosevelt's history. The Liberal Party and the Traditional Labor Party. The Liberals were those who moved for home rule a part from the American Space Empire. And it was due to their great influence in American history and their diplomatic manner of speaking that they were truly able to establish the Federation. The first President, President Jed Roosevelt, was the founder of the party. While the Traditional Labor party were made up of just about everyone else. While they're mainly very hardline center political spectrum, many conservatives accepted that the American Loyal Party wouldn't last long, so they joined the TLP. And the Federation has been an open war zone politically wise since the get-go.


Current President, Francis Rosen, is a hard-core liberal, and wishes to make New Roosevelt identified by the international community as one of the major, if not the, superpowers on world 112.
