The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Dijolo is the victor in yesterday's elections!!!

They won the election with 35% of the vote exactly. The new government has moved quickly to establish itself to the people of Dijolo. They have also declared the country now as, The Revolutionary Socialist State of Dijolo, the RSSD.

Issue #15:

The Chairman of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Toukam, Zuko Zadeng, met with Chairman of the Socialist Party of Dijolo, Enrique Castro, today to congratulate him on his victory in the temporary Dijolian capital of New Vera. But they also announced afterwards, while holding hands in the air, that the RSST and the RSSD are now the closest of allies, and agree to aid each other in war defensively, and offensively... And to help one another become world powers through testing of different weapons, and shared research...

We have no problem with them being allies or anything of that sort but i urge them not to do anything too dramatic. I also urge them to not make an offensive attack on any nation unless there is a reason that will be acceptable in the AN. Other than that i can only say congradulations to the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Dijolo.

We agree with Nasha, there is not a whole lot one can do in this situation. Nations may ally themselves with other nations. While the two nations may be odd choices considering their respective pasts, if they are willing to let bygones be bygones, then so be it.

This is a somewhat odd result but that is no matter. Perhaps now we should get back to the issue of Dijolo's Economy which did collapse. Our leader has wondered weather it is stable enough at this time and would like to hear the opinions of the other world leaders on that matter.

Gracania finds this result and the alliance that followed deeply suspect. We thus refuse to recognize either nation's supposed 'government'. All 180,000 Gracanian troops in the region shall be withdrawn along with any other Gracanian aide to the region.

Gracanian warships shall remain off the coast of the nation Gracanian recognizes as the IND.

Gracania, Why do you not recognize the RSSD? There is no proof of a cheated election or of an election that has been forged. Until we see proof of some kind that shows that this election is not a legitamate one then we will recognize the RSSD.

We too recognize the RSSD. Until evidence comes to light showing an unfair election, we shall recognize and open trade with the RSSD.

Peoples Republic of Gracania, We can not agree with you on this. We are sorry but the fact is that there is no reason except some suspicion to not recognize this country and we should not act merely out of suspicion. It does not seem right that we would refuse to acknowlage the will of the people of Dijolo. So long as there is no evidence showing this isnt the will of the people of Dijolo then we see no need to be so harsh towards them.

Nova Loherien recognizes the new socialist state, but warns that any form of aggression, which by the way is very non-socialist, will be met with equal force.

Inside Nova Loherien, however, things are not going on too well. Protesters are now demanding an election of a Prime Minister to replace the Second Minister / Loherien VP as leader of Nova Loherien. Now more then 3 million people are out in the streets protesting against unfair taxes and Lohrite military activity in the area, plus an additional 18% approval rating for the motherland. Riot police have been put on the alert, we had no choice, because of the planned demonstrations in New Lohr happening tomorrow.

It is his belief that both Dijolo and Toukam have legitamate governments that should be recognized.

There is no reason to stall the global trading patterns because of one nation's suspicions. While the circumstances may be questionable, we can't spend our whole lives debating, what if.

We recognize the RSSD as a sovereign nation. We have already recognized the RSST and have helped them gain stability, and hope to do the same in Dijolo.

Leader of the USSNS, the General Secretary Nasha Valenkov, was shot and killed this morning by a man who claims to be a former member of the government of Facist Toukam! They are not sure if he is telling the truth or not but this is being taken very seriously. Tomorrow there will be an emergency election to place a new leader in power but as of this moment the Central Committee of Nasha's Domain is running the country. They hope to have this resolved as quikly as possible.

News Report from Nova Loherien:

The very large demonstration of around 1 million protesters turned violent today as anarchists from surrounding countries caused a riot to take place. The riot got so out of hand, with hundreds of millions of credits of damage, that law enforcement were unable to control it. The Colonial Defense Force (defensive branch of the military) was called in and brutally suppressed the riot. Because of this, cities nationwide are now up in flames and the people in the streets. Certain radicals have stole guns and have gone into the mountains to "fight for freedom, fairness, and against suppression and foreign leadership".

For now the Second Minister / VP of Loherien has ordered the Lohrite navy to approach the Nova Lohrite coast... looks like the motherland will stop at nothing to keep her children close

The Communist party and by the poles the candidate with 60% of the vote at the moment Mikhail Nashaovich Valenkov, the son of Nasha Valenkov the former General Secretary.

The Nasha's Domain Nationalist Party with Josef March running. currently 25% of the vote

and the last is the Independent party of Nasha's Domain and its candidate Millard Barkhurst. with 15% of the vote.

We wish to remain neutral on this topic.

The Central Comittee has wanted it to be announced that the election results will be given tomorrow. Also, until further notice the U.S.S.N.D. is in a state of emergancy and until this issue is resolved will continue to be.

I am going to form a Sith Academy in my region in order to gain more military strength, the Sith should have a huge military presence if my Empire is truly Sith, right now my military strength is puny to what my Empire should really have.

something to add, i am very sorry for the loss of your leader Nasha, is there anything The Sith can do to assist you in this tragic event, like maybe find who was responsible.

but seeing as you have made this announcement we have no issue with this. Every country is entitled to spend their money in such a way as they see fit.

We have the person responsible contained. He is currently being questioned thoroughly and we hope to have this figured out as soon as possible. As far as we can tell there is nothing to be done except get the election done and take action with the man who shot our leader.
