New RPG's
Alright, as the temporary, non-official RPA, I've come up with a few more simulations we can play. Here they are:
WW 1 - Pretty self explanatory, Can be played in teams or 1v1 like most of the others.
Treaty of Versailles convention - We can take up the reigns as the leading members of convention, one playing as Wilson, one as Clemenceau, David George, etc..... To see if we can make it fair and just, while also seeing if we can prevent WW2 from breaking out.
WW 2 - Obvious.
Partition of India - Fairly simple, one nation plays as the Indian National Congress, one as the Muslim league, one as the British Cabinet, and possibly one as the Sikhs, to see if we can fairly split up British India.
WW 3 - Could be a very enduring process, but it would start out with nations making setting up alliances with one another, and then fighting against the others.... etc.
Building a nation - My personal fav! We can essentially create our own circumstances, set up everything the way we want to, and then build from there.
So what do you think? We can go in depth with each game later, but for now what are your opinions?

Sorry I'm a little confused with this role-playing. I've never done it before...is there a more concise version of the rules?

Re: New RPG's
Each game has a different set of rules. The only one posted so far are the Cold War rules. I'd advise taking a look through the NATO vs Warsaw game that is running between myself and New Roosevelt.
Those look interesting NR, especially the treaty ones.

Re: New RPG's
Yeah I've got the partition of India map all picked out. It should be fun. It must have 4 players however. Maybe if we played without the Sikhs, we could do 3, but I like the idea of having the sikhs as they do NOT have their own nation like India and Pakistan.
This is the map I've got. I like it because it has the provinces and that's how the British Cabinet split it, by population in each provinces. Like it?

Yeah! Alright.
For the test run, here are the positions:
British Cabinet - They make the official decisions on what happens.
Indian National Congress - The Hindu representatives
The Muslim League - The Arab representatives
The Sikhs - The Sikh representatives.
As unofficial RPA, I'll play in the first game. Come on guys! There's got to be more than just Gracania and myself playing!

I have no idea how any of this will work, but I'll give it a spin.

Take a read through the Rules and Regulations of NATO vs. Warsaw. Later I'll post up the rules for Partition of India.
Alright, why don't we pick which group we want to play as? Since Gracania and myself have another game going, Citrustan, why don't you pick first?

Well, I have no idea how it works - but maybe I'll try the Indian National Congress.

Re: New RPG's
I would like to play as the British. Prepare for a compassionate Clem Atlee rather than a moody Churchill.
Re: New RPG's
Alright, I'll assume command of the Muslim League. Be prepared to see the country that is currently being run over by terrorist look better than what they are.

I am confused as to how we actually do these simulations? I am not sure how to do anything here. Can someone give me a short explanation of this?

Re: New RPG's
Read the Rules and Regulations of each game. That should give you a better general understanding. But an overall synopsis would be for the Partition of India, you need to convince the British Cabinet that your case is better. Consider it like you are a lawyer, you need to convince the jury of your case. The same is here.

Re: New RPG's
Please consider taking part.
Do we need four players? If no one takes up the role in 24 hours shall we co9ntine with the game anyway?

Re: New RPG's
That sounds fine. We can forget the sikhs and just have a battle mano-mano Hindu vs. Muslim. With of course Gracania as the referee. Laughs.

Re: New RPG's
Another idea coming in...
The SECOND american civil war...
For those of you who watched the American TV show, Jericho, it is that. For those of you that haven't here is the run down...
The US has been attacked by a nuclear holocaust!!! The US has essentially become one giant company, and one government official takes it into his own to destroy it. He launches a plan into motion, in which the 25 largest cities in the US, are destroyed. However, only 23 are detonated. The last two targets, Columbus, Ohio and New York City had their bombs lost.
After about six months, a new federal government has been established on the west side of the Mississippi River, called the Allied States of America with it's capital the Federal District of Cheyenne, while the decaying remainder of the US which lost it's capital of Washington D.C. has established a government based out of Columbus.
The ASA government is now built out of this company, and is growing stronger... Which side will win and rebuild America? Texas has established the Independent Republic of Texas, and Hawaii and Alaska have formed their own governments as well.
I liked the idea of a post apocalyptic America. While I would hate to see it, I like the idea of what would happen to the nation?

Any thoughts on the 2nd American Civil War?
I think it could be really good. I could also divide the states up into smaller regions. Where it has like 5 different nations.

I like it.
There's a PC game, Shattered Union. We could steal the map from that. It has 6 or 7 nations, I think.
